Finding the grain of sand
the peak beyond peaks
as you step over one
another great peak looms
the journey is hard
exhausting
it shakes you to your core
but time is healing
time and space

The apple doesnt fall far
from the tree.
We see them grow,
we see them change.
Though our reflection is there.
Some of this.
Some of that.
We hope not too much
and not too little.
A little of me,
a little of you,
Yet so much of them.
Enough to stay unique.
Yet similar.
Familiar.
